Snow Days

We are too little to go out and enjoy all the snow we got last week (we'd be buried up to our heads), but we have had some of our own fun inside!  Daddy got to be home for two snow days and a long weekend which was great!  He got to help feed us our sweet potatoes.  Riley and I LOVE our food!  We get so excited just getting into our high chairs and get impatient when Mommy goes from one of us to the other because the bites can't come fast enough!

I got to try peas on Tuesday!

We love tummy time on our boppys because we can look at each other.  Now when we see each other we smile, laugh and talk.  One of the milestones for babies our age is to interact with our reflection in the mirror.  We can do better than that, we've got a real life mirror image!

Last night Daddy put together our new exersaucers!  They have about 8 million things for us to look at.  We were a bit overwhelmed when Mommy first put us in today and we are still a little small for them, but we quickly got down to business.

Mommy's friend Erika came to visit us before the snow started.  We slept through most of her visit but woke up in time to play with her for a little bit.

We learned some sad news last week.  One of our favorite NICU nurses unexpectedly lost her sister who was also a mom to little kids like us.  We don't know much about how things work in this world, but one thing we do know is that sisters are awesome.  E "L" S - if you're checking in on us, we are thinking of you.

  1. You are right about sisters. Your mom and your Aunt Melissa are some of the best!
You girls are growing so fast and I can't wait to see you again! I hope you share your peas with me!
    Love you lots!
