Ode to a Preemie on Her Birthday
Twelve months ago we entered this world,
and suddenly Mommy and Daddy were a family with two baby girls.
Although we were tiny, we were full of love
and constantly looked after from our angels here and above.
Despite pin pricks and CPAPs and bradies galore,
we grew and we grew until we weren't tiny any more.
Now we are ONE and ready to rock,
we are truly the happiest babies on the block!!

Yesterday we celebrated our first birthday and had so much fun (after we got used to all the people in the house)! We got to eat our first cupcakes and got so many wonderful gifts that we have already started to play with!
We wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has been so nice and helpful to our family this past year! We truly feel blessed to have such kind, generous and loving family and friends.
It has been amazing year for all of us and we couldn't have done it without all of you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweet girls! Because of you the past year has been the very best. I love watching you grow and learn. I can't wait to see and share in all the milestones you will conquer in the coming year! I love you very much.
