The storm of Daddy's lifetime hit our house in Northern Virginia. We got 38" of snow over several days. On the first day, January 22nd, when it started snowing we played outside and daddy pulled us in our sled.

The next morning, January 23rd, there was no more playing outside, as you can see by the snow drift at our front door, there was no way for us to go outside. Even Arlie and Ashby had a hard time, playing in the snow.

As the day went on, the snow got taller and taller!

Throughout the day Daddy and Mommy did their best shoveling the snow with Arlie and Ashby providing lookout.

On January 24th, we started the big dig out with Mommy and Daddy. We helped by shoveling and running up and down the "tunnels" Daddy and Mommy were building.

Daddy and Mommy took us to the end of the street where there is a big hill to go sledding. We were nervous at first and did not really enjoy it, but after our second or third time down, WE LOVED IT!
