8 Months Old!

We are celebrating our 8 month birthday today!  And no, it's not a belated April Fools joke, we really are that old!  We are growing and changing every day!  Except maybe our hair which is a little slower to catch up.  We love to talk and laugh with each other.  We have discovered how fun it is to put toys in our mouth and to happily screech as loud as we can for fun! (for some reason Mommy doesn't think that's a fun game).  Daddy can still crack us up by giving us a milk shake and we love to practice sitting up.  We love our baths, we kick and splash and get Mommy and Daddy all soaked.  We have tried all sorts of food and love every bite!  Each day a little more actually ends up in our bellies.  Anything with lights catches our attention, the digital picture frame, our mobiles, the light up toys on our exersaucers.

We had a visit from our Auntie Susan and Uncle Gerry.  Mommy says they even knew her when she was a little baby.

Grandma and Grandpops came to visit us too!  We had a lot of fun with them!  We loved listening to music on Grandpops phone and Grandma liked to read us books and play on our mat with us.

We had visits from Nonni and Granddaddy and Mommy and Daddy's friend Janet too, but Mommy and Daddy forgot to take pictures so they will have to come back! 

We celebrated our first St. Patrick's Day.

Mommy and Daddy promise us that slowly but surely spring is on the way.  We have gotten to take a few walks in our stroller with Mommy and Daddy and Arlie and Ashby, its so nice to get outside and see the trees and grass and houses.  We are ready for the warmer weather!

Every day we continue to surprise Mommy and Daddy with how alike we actually are!  It isn't uncommon for us to be in the same pose or doing the exact same thing.  We even soothe ourselves to sleep the same way, by sucking on our wrists.  Kind of weird, but it works for us so we're going with it! 

We are still working on rolling over.  We love to lay on our sides, we just haven't figured out how to get the rest of the way yet.  We even like to sleep this way.

We continue to discover the wonders of having a permanent playmate, we love to laugh and talk with each other.  Sometimes we kick each other or pull on each others ears too.  I guess that's just what sisters do.
