Preemie Check Up

Once every 6 months we get to visit with the occupational and physical therapists that helped take such good care of us at Fairfax Hospital when we were born.  They like to check and see how we are developing.  We play fun games and do lots of activities so they can see our fine and gross motor skills and our language and play skills.   It helps Mommy and Daddy know how we are progressing and it also helps the NICU so that they can better prepare other Mommies and Daddies that have preemies in the future.

We got to do all sorts of fun stuff on Thursday like color, take shapes in and out of a box, try to find the ring hidden under the blankets, and pull up and cruise on a bench that was just our size.  We did SO awesome.  They told Mommy that we are progressing just as we should for both our actual and adjusted age.

Before we went, Mommy took us to have lunch with our favorite nurse!  We had a great time, especially flirting with the table of boys sitting next to us!  We are very curious, as you can tell from the picture below, its hard to keep our attention if anyone is walking by!
