TGIF

Nothing too new to report from the IMC tonight.  Our furry brother and sister went to daycare today, so Mommy was able to come early and feed us breakfast.  Today was also bath day, Mommy gave both of us some spa time.  Here we are all clean in our matching outfits.

Mommy also got our physical therapy training needed for discharge. She learned how to help keep us from getting flat heads and to track our development.  Even though we are 10 weeks old today chronologically, we are technically still -2 weeks old adjusted.  For our first two years, our progress towards milestones like sitting, crawling and walking will be measured based on our adjusted age (our chronological age minus three months so things that full term babies are doing at 6 months, we won't be expected to do until 9 months.  Or maybe we'll be overachievers and do everything early!  We will come back to the hospital three times over the next two years to be assessed for things like motor skills, cognitive skills and language skills to make sure we are growing like we should.  So far we are way ahead of the curve :).

  1. Sounds like it has been a productive week. I always seem to learn something new reading this blog. Keep up the great work. Here's hoping you come home soon. Love, Nonni
