Are we ready for some football?

We got the results back from our first MRSA re-test and they were negative...one step closer to being freed from isolation.  We have one more test we have to pass tonight and we should be home free.  We know Mommy and Daddy will be happy because the yellow gowns and plastic gloves are HOT!

Mommy and Daddy came to visit together today.  They each took a turn holding us in our burritos.  This upright position helps us digest our food and lessens our reflux which can cause spells.

Here's a picture of Mommy holding me in her yellow alien outfit.

Here's a picture of Emerson in Daddy's yellow and blue arms.  Daddy is really good at putting us to sleep when he holds us!  He said this is how we are going to watch Hokie and Redskin football when we get home.

Emerson's belly was very big again today, so the doctor decided to decrease her food a little.  The nurse said she is not ready for a bikini with that belly!  I crossed the 4 pound mark and have officially outgrown my preemie onesies.  The nurse told Mommy and Daddy they had to bring in newborn size for me tomorrow.  Cue Mommy crying again.  We are both still practicing taking our food PO (which means "by mouth") with the goal of being able to eat all of our food by mouth so that we can ditch our feeding tubes for good.
