Oink Oink!

Riley and I continue to get bigger and bigger.  I weigh 4lbs 11oz and Riley is up to 4lbs 15oz.  My weight gain has slowed down a little bit, probably in large part due to the diuretic I am taking, but the nurse was going to speak to the doctor today to see if he was ready to try to increase my food again.  They are going really slowly with me since it sometimes takes my stomach a little while to catch up.

Today, Mommy fed Riley and instead of falling asleep into a food coma, thirty minutes later she was still sitting like this in her bed:

So Daddy gave her 20ccs more to eat:

She sucked most of it down and then felt much more satisfied although still not sleepy!

We both got baths today, Mommy and Daddy took turns.  I only had to have a half bath (the top half) since the bottom half of me got a bath yesterday :).  Our skin is still very delicate, so they only like to give us a bath every three days.  We both like to have our hair shampooed best and we hate having our faces washed.  They bring us over to the bath station in a baby scale.  Today our nurse took our diapers off before she wheeled us over so she could weigh us.  Mommy and Daddy tried to warn her that we aren't potty trained yet.  She learned that lesson...twice!

Then we had some nice snuggle time.  Daddy fancies himself the baby whisperer because every time he holds us, we fall asleep.  Here is evidence of me under Daddy's spell.

The other good news is that we have started making all of our own blood, so we no longer have to get the shot that stimulates our red blood cells.  We won't miss that every other day!
