Cute as a cupcake!

Today Mommy gave both of us a bath during her visit.  Then we got all snuggled up in our new sleep sacks. We wore cupcakes in honor of Daddy's birthday.   We actually enjoyed our baths today, don't judge by the petrified looks on our faces.

When Daddy came, we helped him celebrate his birthday.  We made him a special card with our hand and foot prints.  We also got our first Virginia Tech onesies so now we are really ready to watch football together!

We are both sneaking up on 5lbs.  I am up to 4lbs 13oz and Emerson is 4lbs 10oz, more than double her birth weight!   I took 30ccs from my bottle this morning and Emerson drank her 5oz in about two minutes.  She will start being able to take a bottle four times a day and her food is now coming in 1 hour 45 mins.

When Mommy left the hospital today, she went to get our car seats installed and checked at the police department.  We can't wait until we get to take the ride home!  Next she gets to bring them into the hospital so that the nurses can make sure that we fit in them before our car seat challenge.
